LEGION OF MARY

Those who have personal devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary some times join the Legion of Mary group. Some of members are Eucharistic ministers and take the Eucharistic to sick persons, homebound, nursing home, assisted living where they monthly organize the celebration of the Eucharist. Legion of Mary meeting is held every Monday after morning mass in Parish Hall; active and auxiliary members recite 15 decades in church Monday afternoon. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS


Every practical parishioner man, 18 years old at least, in union with the Holy See should truly join the Knights of Columbus. 

The order of Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest lay Catholic family service organization.

Through their 4 principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism; the knights:

1. Stand in service to all as witnesses to the Good News of the Gospel;
2. Aid one another in times of sickness or death, by means of a simple insurance plan;
3. Strengthen themselves and each other in the faith;
4. Strengthen families and family life. Knights conduct a wide variety of activities and efforts to enhance and strengthen family life in accordance with the social teaching of the Church;
5. Promote and defend the sanctity of life from conception until natural death;
6. Are strong pillars of support for their priests, bishops, and vocations;

 ALTAR SOCIETIES

All women should join the altar society as way to serve and support altar needs. Of course, fundraising through garage sale, bazaar, dinners or bake sale the ladies of altar society attend to the care of the altar, vestments, linens, candles, sacred vessels, and help at funeral reception. We have St. Aloysius Altar Society which meets every first Tuesday at 1 PM; and OLOL Altar Society meets every second Tuesday at 7 PM. If you are woman and interested, please come and join either St. Aloysius or OLOL Altar Society. Meetings are held in Parish Hall. Call the office for details.

WORLD MARRIAGE DAY

We plan to have a special evening for married couples to renew their vows and celebrate with dinner and dance party their union. Check the bulletin for upcoming scheduled celebration day and details.
